About Us and Our People

Max Beairsto received both his pharmacy degree and executive MBA from the University of Alberta. He also holds a certification as a valuation analyst with both the National and Canadian Association of Valuators and Analysts. His 28-year involvement in valuations began with the purchase of his first business in 1995, which he then sold in 2000. The Katz Group then recruited him, where he gained more valuation and acquisition experience and eventually became the Director of Acquisitions and Real Estate in Western Canada. Since 2005 through his company, he has been actively involved in valuations and business consulting, having completed hundreds of valuation assessments.

Matt began working with Evcor in 2017 after completing his MBA at the University of Alberta. Having gained experience with such companies as Value Drug Mart and Associates and Coca-Cola, he understands the key performance indicators of a variety of industries. Not only this, he has start-up experience and understands how to close the gap between prototype concepts to commercialization. Matt is an entrepreneur at heart and this, combined with his formal education in business, brings value to the team.

Lorraine Myers received her B.Comm from the University of Saskatchewan and her MBA from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and Saskatchewan. She brings a wealth of professional and industry experience, gained as a partner in MNP Calgary, CFO/VP Finance of Western Explosives Ltd./Dyno Nobel Canada Ltd., CFO of VGS Seismic Canada Inc. and in providing financial consulting services to a number of Western Canadian companies. Her financial consulting services include a 10 year relationship with a group of Alberta pharmacies where her responsibilities encompassed analyses of acquisitions and dispositions.

My professional journey has been both diverse and rewarding, driven by a commitment to connecting strategic insights with practical outcomes. With a foundation in commercial banking and insurance, I have honed my skills in business valuations and sales, specializing in various industries.
As a Business Broker at EVCOR – Enterprise Valuators Corporation, I have the privilege of assisting business owners in navigating the complex landscape of buying and selling businesses. My role involves balancing strategic vision with detailed execution, all centered around empowering others to achieve their fullest potential.

In addition to my role as Director of Marketing at EVCOR, I am the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Pharmacy Edge. In that role, I’ve had the honor of supporting independent pharmacy businesses in navigating a competitive industry. From launching our website to hosting our first conference, my role is a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution—all with the goal of empowering others to reach their fullest potential.
My journey is shaped by a wide range of experiences. Certifications in Health Coaching and Yoga Instruction have taught me the importance of balance, wellness, and holistic leadership—principles I carry into every aspect of my work. As the host of The Multi-Passionate Pathway Podcast, I explore how embracing curiosity and diverse interests can lead to a vibrant, fulfilling life, inspiring those who defy conventional labels.

“Denis joined EVCOR team in September 2019. He completed his accounting degree at MacEwan University in Edmonton, and he is currently working toward his CPA destination. Prior to joining EVCOR, Denis was an Accounting Technician at Bud Stannix LLP.
In his spare time, Denis enjoys golfing, reading, and video gaming.”

Ali brings more than 15 years of experience in pharmacy practice, operations, and stakeholder engagement. He received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta and has built his career leading operational and strategic initiatives across pharmacy, health care, and hospitality.
He has also been deeply involved in advocacy and government relations, working to advance the role of pharmacists and strengthen the sustainability of independent practice across Alberta. His diverse background provides a unique perspective on how operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and patient care intersect to drive success.
At EVCOR, Ali partners with clients to translate regulations, data, and industry insight into actionable strategies, helping pharmacy owners shape, transition, and grow their practices.

Ronnie Bud brings a wealth of accounting and advisory experience to the EVCOR team, helping clients maximize their return on investment. With a background assisting some of Canada’s top companies, Ronnie is driven by a passion for bringing “Big Company” expertise to the small- to medium-sized business sector. He believes this approach helps businesses unlock and realize their full potential and achieve their succession goals.

Ronnie’s extensive credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alberta, along with designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and a certification in Financial Forensics (CFF). His multifaceted expertise aligns perfectly with EVCOR’s integrated, data-driven approach. By acting as a key collaborator, Ronnie ensures clients and their advisors are aligned, informed, and positioned for a successful business transition.

Suzanne plays an integral role in supporting office operations and managing EVCOR’s data. She is committed to working collaboratively with customers and colleagues to help ensure smooth, well-coordinated transactions across a wide range of roles and responsibilities.

Prior to joining EVCOR, Suzanne served as General Manager of a home building company, where she developed valuable cross-functional insight into the many departments that contribute to a successful organization. Her experience spans sales, accounting, project management, and customer service, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both day-to-day operations and the broader business landscape.

Throughout her career in home building, Suzanne contributed to the construction, design, and marketing of award-winning projects and was also involved with STARS Lottery Homes. Earlier in her career, she worked in the optometric industry and gained additional experience preparing reserve fund studies for construction developments.

With her diverse background, strong organizational skills, and collaborative approach, Suzanne brings depth of knowledge and dependable support to her work at EVCOR.

Tyler joined the EVCOR team in March 2026. He completed his degree in Operations Management at the University of Alberta in 2025. Prior to joining EVCOR, Tyler worked as a lifeguard for the municipality of Strathcona County where he gained experience in public relations and working with a team in high pressure situations. Outside of the office, Tyler likes to spend time with his cat and dog, and in the summers enjoys taking out his motorcycle.
